Most of the names in drawn to seem to fall into the above category.
Please give me a steer towards something cool (if that doesn't sound pathetic) and classic for a girl...

I like elegant girls names, that can have fun nick-names ie cover the bases if she wants to be a politician or a pop-star, so

Eleanor/Ellie
Charlotte/Charlie
Victoria/Vikki
Thomasina/Tina

...But they might be a bit old fashioned for you.

I have never met a granny called Marianne or Helene.

Olive, Lillian and Maud, but not Marianne.
