What 'unique' boys names do you like?

Due in a few weeks and stuck for boys' names. We do not want a really popular name.

We've a few on our shortlist, but I'm still on the lookout for The One! So, do you know any little boys with relatively unique names? Or even just names you think are really nice. And I don't mean crazy, bizarre names... Just not any that are too popular. Thanks.

Oh dear, there are some awful names there imo! Maybe not many people with those names for good reason.
One name I like is Eadwin (old Saxon king name & spelling), is Ead for short, but we couldn't use it for DSs as my Bil is Edwin.
Felix nice too but becoming very very popular where I live.
Please don't go with Ennis! Ugh playground teasing potential.

Not at all, Tiredy! Completely legit -

From Wikipedia:
Ward is a popular Old English origin and Old Gaelic origin surname dating to before the Norman conquest of 1066.
The Old English name derives from an occupational surname for a civil guard/keeper of the watch, or alternately as a topographical surname from the word "werd" ("marsh").
The Old Gaelic surname derives from "Mac an Bhaird" ("son of the Bard"). A bard being a story teller or poet.

Had a great uncle with that name. Grin

James isn't very rare round where I live. Quite the opposite. There's 4 of them just in the toddler room at DS's nursery, and it's not a big nursery.

I know a Barnaby, Seth, Caleb, Reuben, Sebastian, Fraser.

If you want a "unique" name in his class then you'll need to look at names from the 60s and 70s. How about Kevin, Simon, Mark, Gary etc? Grin
