I love Nina Harriett. Also not keen on Robin personally but it does go with your surname well, I prefer the way it flows with John though as I don't like names that end the same, I think it sounds awkward (AnthonY McKenzIE).
- no reflection on you Hazel, just people often ask, then get all huffy if you don't like them.
I don't have any 'reason' behind it, just personal preference, but I really like 'Nina'. Not at all keen on Robin' though - I think it's just too closely associated wither with the bird or with Batman and Robin. Much prefer Robert, if you want the 'Rob' / 'Robbie' options.
Really like Nina, seems a strong name. Don'ts like any of the other, Harriet sounds a bit ugly, Robin is wet and just dislike Anthony. John seems such a boring, nothing name and can't see any point to bothering with a middle name at all if you were going to use John.
Your boy and girl choices seem on different ends of the scale.
One of my oldest friends is called Nina and I've always loved it, we're both turning 25 next and it still suits her. Her middle name is Peta (after her dad, Peter) I think its a great name. And all that matters is that u love the names, I gave up on a few of my son's potential name choices due to family members stupid faces when I told them what I was thinking. Go with ur heart x
