Baby names

Not sure if this is amazing or just plain sad

(probably the latter) but I just realised I can name my entire class, in register order, from Secondary school and I left there 12 years ago. I guess hearing the register being called 7 times a day, 5 days a week for 5 years sinks in!

Also fun to remember the baby names that were popular 28 years ago Smile Right I'm off back to loserville.... Blush

I'm also weird I remember all my family's landline phone numbers from when I was growing up
I can also re all all my parent's number plates on their different cars and the car model etc. they had about 20 different cars.

Don't know why they just stuck...

Haha now you mention it my dad had an old Morris Miner car that sat in the garden for years and I still recall the numberplate, yet I can barely remember the one for the car I currently have! Grin

You're not alone- I can also say my secondary register in order without even thinking about it :) I can even have a good go at the primary school register Blush but I really do have to think about that.

We were all given numbers for speed, so we just went round the class saying our numbers. I was Thirteen. Like on House!

Secondary school 12 years ago. Hmm, must be a fair crop of Charlottes, Emilys, an Alice or two? Now, my secondary school 30 years ago- that was all Lisa, Debbie, Joannas and Susans!

That's impressive, I'd struggle to name my whole class and I only left school 6 years ago!

I can list my form in register order, but those names have displaced my own register from when I was at school.

The unfortunate side effect is that if anyone says "Holly" in the supermarket or wherever, I automatically start to list the other 28 names... :)

God, that name Nicola. Brings back a lot of the 1970s for me.

I can't name mine. We did our register by calling out our numbers (I was first in the register, alphabetically, so I said One, second person alphabetically said Two etc;) so there's nothing to remember Sad I can remember most of my friends, but can't remember register order let alone people who were out of my friendship group...

I remember Ingela x3, Angela x2, Sofia x2, Johan x2, Liselotte, Kristina x2, Emma x2, Anna, Ajsel, Fredric, Malin, Indra, Gabriella, Dan x2, Hollie, Ola x2, Jay.

Sweden (who'd a guessed it). Thankfully we had the same classes through the whole of school! There's still 5 more people to remember, and I can't quite think of their names!
