Reminds me of gusset... Is it a name?

gymboywalton · 21/05/2013 18:28

Reminds me of the little fat mouse in Cinderella :)

It was a very cute mouse if you ask :)

love it!

Reminds me of gusset too. As described in cheap chicklit - 'his tanned fingers deftly pushed aside her moist gusset and explored the wonders beneath' etc

Ha ha to gusset! That chick lit passage made me chuckle.

Yes I think as a stand alone name. We're not Scottish so would feel weird using angus. The full version that springs to mind is augustus which I'm not too keen on.

Just a thought, don't think it'll make the short list...

Love it, dislike Angus.

I love Gus and have it on my too-scared-to-use boys list alongside Griff, Fox and Sid.

I love Gus, would be short for Augustus. Always reminds me of Gussie Fink-Nottle from Jeeves and Wooster.

No....I'm sorry, I cannot like it.

Gustav?
Angus?
Augustus?

but mainly LOVING the appearance of the Fink-Nottle on a baby names thread :)

Short for Augustus? My ski-ing instructor (get me!) in Bulgaria was called Augustan, would NOT let us shorten to Gus, as that means Arse in Bulgarian.Grin

Always think of the little fat mouse in Cinderella.

I know a little Gustav. Very sweet - but not shortened to Gus.

We had a Gus at school, he got called Gus the gorilla. He wasn't a very pleasant chap either.

Oh, I was besotted with a boy called Gus in my distant youth!
He was cool. Go for it.
