What do you think of Lewis for a boy?

I like Lewis, was considering that as a middle name. What about Ethan, Jack, Finlay? I'm struggling a bit with boys names too! I love Benjamin but DH didn't like a Ben in school dammit!

Depends where you are. In Scotland it's been done to death. Still a nice name though :)

I like it. However, I am more inclined towards Louis (pronounced Lou-ee).

I know a Lewis, aged about 7. It was a joke at their parent's wedding that their children would be called John and Lewis as that was their mother's favourite shop. Guess they must have thought "actually, that's a nice name." I like it.

My DS's friend is called Lewis. He's 7 and a lovely, bright and polite boy. I really like the name because of this, and also like Louis.

thanks to a silly friend, whenever I heard the name Lewis I then say it in my head like Inspector Morse

Well, I'm Australian (living in England) and Ive never met a Lewis in my life! And no plans to move to Scotland either.

Its funny how names or connatations with names stick!

I like Lewis - good strong solid name, easy to pronounce (unlike Louis which some people prefer to pronounce the French way, Lou-ee).
