I love both and desperately wanted Jude for one of our DS's ... DH said no because he just thought of Judas ..

Jude

I like both. But then I'm biased - both of them have been used in my tribe of small boys.

LifeOfPee Sat 04-May-13 15:56:16

Jude.

Kittykatmacbill Sat 04-May-13 16:07:27

Jude! So much nicer.

CPtart Sat 04-May-13 16:07:42

Mmmm, not keen on either but Ethan marginally nicer.

Thingymajigs Sat 04-May-13 19:18:58

Jude. It's right near the top on my names list although my DP needs convincing.

Jojay Sat 04-May-13 19:19:51

Jude. I can't stand Ethan (shudder..)

Rhubarbgarden Sat 04-May-13 19:36:12

Definitely Jude. It's fabulous! Dh vetoed it for us but thankfully we agree on a name for our forthcoming dc2.

Jude. Lovely name and so less likely to bump into another one.

ZolaBuddleia Sun 05-May-13 11:28:00

Jude for me too. By a mile.

fussychica Sun 05-May-13 14:36:34

Jude for me as long as it works with your surname.

bootsycollins Sun 05-May-13 14:42:35

Jude

StrangeGlue Sun 05-May-13 14:43:35

Ethan. Jude is beloved by intellectual types but doesn't scan well to real life ime

Wishiwasanheiress Sun 05-May-13 14:44:39

EJ ok. If only one I vote for Ethan.

Well the only Jude I know in RL is a woman. A name that means I don't know if the person is male of female when I see the name written down, really puts me off a name. So for that reason I prefer Ethan.

ItsallisnowaFeegle Sun 05-May-13 15:14:05

Jude, all the way! I have a 20 week old Jude and I adore the name and it suits him so well AND seems to be working great in RL.

Jude! wink

They're both great - lovely classic Biblical names.

I prefer Ethan, as Jude sounds a bit feminine to me (nickname for Judith).
