Hi, my daughter is called Persephone and we are looking for a boys or girls name to match it!!!!.

I've always loved the name Persephone, so try not to be too critical!!

All positive baby name thoughts welcomed as we can't think of much. I would like something beginning with O for some reason:

  • possibles so far: - Orpheus or Endymion for a boy
  • Appollonia (maybe??) for a girl

Cheers, Inca

Ooh let's try Seraphina and Raphael.

Olivia/Oliver but probably too ordinary for you. I actually really like all your names but wouldn't give them to my children.

Assume you are in an affluent area, if in the UK, otherwise your boys names might attract bullying/ridicule in many places.

Unusual girls names are always easier to get away with for some reason.

Was just coming on to suggest Rupert too. Not a Greek mythical name but Rupert and Persephone sound lovely together

Isn't Ozimandias the "look at my works ye mighty and despair" king from the Shelley poem, where his works had crumbled into dust? Not sure that's a great idea for a baby name, if you know the poem it seems ridiculous.

On the greek theme...
Hector
Helen
Athena
Phoebe
Cassandra
