I keep seeing comments about names being 'trendy' and will 'date'. Apart from not really knowing what this means, I was hoping you could maybe please could you share the names 'trending' in your area.

Many thanks.

Why don't you just look at uk name stats? There is some regional variations I agree, names in my sisters area of London are very different than my northern town, but you will still find all the popular ones in the top 100.

Here it's Olivia, Ellie/Elle/Ella, Emily, Lily, Amber, Ava, Isabelle, Ruby etc
For boys, Oliver, Harry, Charlie, Noah, Ethan, James, Reuben, Daniel

Bounty baby names app is good. Has stats on all names given regionally by mothers who register with them in the hospital, though we have been known to change our minds on the name after!

I know three girls called Lexi May, one called Alexie May and a Lexiya May.
Also know a Isla May, Georgia May, two Ellie May and an Evie May. Oh and my friend has just decided on Isobel May for her unborn DD.
Louise seems to be a very popular middle name amongst my friends though, loads of women my age have Louise as a middle name (early-mid twenties).
I also know three Theo's although one is actually called Theodore and uses Theo as a nn. And lots of Jayden/Kayden etc
All of these children are under five.

Seems to be a massive trend around me lately for girls called Something-Mae, eg Megan-Mae, Tilly-Mae, Josie-Mae. I know five born in the last year. DH does a hillbilly voice when saying them, although I have no real idea why...
