May. My niece is adyson may. I'd go with a short name to balance out the syllables.

Syndrome? Disease?

Joy... it's DD's middle name and I heartily recommend it ! smile

LandofTute Tue 26-Mar-13 10:55:15

That's a bit different though. Edward is a very well known, long established boys' name /has been the name of monarchs etc. Addison isn't

ChristineDaae Tue 26-Mar-13 06:41:19

Also OP - there is an Edwards Syndrome... That doesn't seem to put off the millions of parents who babe their kid Edward smile

Wow it's a good thing I'm not one of them people who takes these things to heart!! But hey the world would be a boring/confusing place if we all had the sane taste!

But in answer to your question OP, I think Rose goes nicely. I'd probably go with a one syllable middle name..

Gooseysgirl Tue 26-Mar-13 06:35:36

Disease or the cab firm

exoticfruits Tue 26-Mar-13 06:30:21

My first thought was a disease.

Bunbaker Tue 26-Mar-13 06:24:16

Sorry, but the first thing that came to mind was Addison's disease

Then a boy's name. I don't like it at all.

sashh Tue 26-Mar-13 06:21:51

I am Canadian and here it is certainly a girl's name.

Yes but you are in North America where Mackenzie, Taylor and Shaun are girls names.

SuckingDiesel Tue 26-Mar-13 06:17:44

It's a disease for me too, I'm afraid.

elQuintoConyo Tue 26-Mar-13 05:42:04

So, would Addison be the middle name? I'm confused (forgive me, it's early).

As a middle name = great; as a first name = horrible, imho. It sounds very harsh. You did ask!

How about:
Madison Addison
Harrison Addison
Bobby-Sue Addison
Savanna Addison

MusicalEndorphins Tue 26-Mar-13 05:22:58

Addison Taylor

MyPetMonsterAndMe Mon 25-Mar-13 23:10:18

I am Canadian and here it is certainly a girl's name. I know an Addison Ann and an Addison Elizabeth. I like both.

Snazzynewyear Mon 25-Mar-13 22:27:54

I only know it as a boy's name. Jenny Colgan wrote a novel 'Talking to Addison' years ago in which Addison was the good-looking male housemate.

I have a 2yo Addison, she had a long, classic family name as her middle name.
