Quirky but not too quirky boys names

Hi All,

need your help again! We're having a DS in June and looking for a name. I had another thread a bit ago about DHs choice which was James which I don't like for a variety of reasons. I do like names like Noah, Toby, Sam, Arthur, and Fred but none of them feels exactly right. Can anyone inspire me with a short, quirky-ish name?

I think 'retro' but not 'vintage' is good (my DS is Simon).

Noah and Sam aren't all that unusual. Asa is a good one - not at all common.
