Hi
We are looking for Scottish names and have thought of lots that we like but are not sure that we love any of them. We like names that are not overly popular/common, but do not like anything made-up sounding. We have tested some ideas out by subtly dropping them in conversation with friends but to date these ideas have been met with hoots of laughter! Having seen some of the great ideas you have come up with for other people, I thought I would put it out there...
For girls the current shortlist is: Flora, Ishbel, Florence and Kate Anne.
For boys it is: Archie (a family name but concerned it is too popular at present), Blair, Cameron, Hamish, Gregor, Monty, Ruaridh, Ranald and Lorne.
Any thoughts/ ideas...?
