Thanks - will bear your comments in mind - although its a fairly mixed response!
Something just pulls me towards Oscar....

Arthur & Edward here too.

Arthur and Edward , lovely names together.

HouseOfBears Fri 25-Jan-13 21:34:04

I like Arthur and Edward or Oscar. I wouldn't have Arthur and Theo as there's too many "th" sounds so I think it's hard to say them together.

Allalonenow Fri 25-Jan-13 21:30:18

Caspar or Felix ae my favourites.

Blottedcopybook Fri 25-Jan-13 21:23:47

Those are really lovely names smile

I agree with the poster above about twins' names sounding similar, being identical they'll get mixed up sometimes anyway but having names that sound alike might impede them developing individuality? Theo and Felix really popped out to me from your list, not names I hear very often.

Congrats on your babies! What a gift to have twins x

I have ID twin boys and one of mine is Oscar. So I love the name obviously!
We liked edward very much but chose a short simple name for the other boy so it wouldn't be too much of a mouthful.

I think Edward goes best (although, if I had twins, they would be Theo and Felix grin).

thegreylady Fri 25-Jan-13 20:56:25

Edward or Theo

Allthesanityinme Fri 25-Jan-13 17:54:41

I don't usually like twin names to rhyme but I think that Arthur and Oscar sound really nice together, and because the other sounds are very different they still sound individual. I also really like Rowan, Arthur and Oscar together.

Homebird8 Fri 25-Jan-13 07:07:48

I like Theo and Felix and think that they work well with Arthur and Rowan. Good to have names which sound different at the end I think. The UR and AR endings together are difficult to say.

schplappo Fri 25-Jan-13 07:03:04

Edward definitely. Agree with other posters that the others don't quite fit with arthur (wonderful name btw).

lollydollydrop Thu 24-Jan-13 23:46:10

Another vote for Arthur and Edward

I hate hate hate when twins names rhyme, and Arthur has the same sound ending as Jaspar, Caspar and Oscar. Let them have some individuality smile

I dont think Felix and Theo go well at all- too cool

Booyhoo Thu 24-Jan-13 20:31:41

<whispers> it's cause none of the rest were kings grin

Chrissy22 Thu 24-Jan-13 20:28:37

Edward and Arthur

HilaryClinton Thu 24-Jan-13 20:14:52

I'm a twins mum and (personally ) feel that the two names should 'fit' together. e.g. you wouldn't have Victoria and Princess/Apple/Moonunit.

For me: Arthur and Caspar would not be brothers. Arthur and Oscar could pass, but for me Arthur goes with Edward best from your shortlist.

Arthur and Edward....

BikeRunSki Thu 24-Jan-13 20:02:03

Arthur and Edward.

Booyhoo Thu 24-Jan-13 19:55:54

arthur and edward

Jemimapuddleduk Thu 24-Jan-13 19:54:06

Arthur and Theo! Gorgeous.
I love your choices, we have Arthur and Rowan on our short list.

pixi2 Thu 24-Jan-13 19:50:48

Love Caspar.

curiousgeorgie Thu 24-Jan-13 19:49:29

Jasper - but spelt like that. Love it!

Oscar is SO popular.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie Thu 24-Jan-13 19:49:03

Love Oscar and Edward. Don't like Felix or Caspar. LOVE Rowan.

Rowan1204 Thu 24-Jan-13 19:44:41

i was convinced they were girls! But delighted to be having identical boys smile

One will definitely be Arthur.
The other one....

Any thoughts? At the moment my faves are Oscar and Caspar.
We already have a ds called Rowan and three nephews called Sam, Thomas and Alexander.
