Henrik or Christian

Hi,
My boy is going to be born mid February. We still can't decide about his name. Our favourite is Henrik but it is quite rare and we also consider Christian. What do you think?

Prefer Henrik, Hendrik is more difficult to pronounce. Do you think my son migh be bullied at school if I name him Henrik?

Are you Danish? Absolutely love Christian, it would be right at the the top of my list if DH didn't think it was too religious. However Henrik is fine too, it's a good strong name. I'm convinced that kids don't get teased for names nearly as much as parents-to-be think they do - I remember very little nasty name-related teasing when I was a child. There is no doubting that Christian does fit in a little better though!

I love Christian too. Henrik is nice but he will always be asked about his heritage by people who'll be if he's not got any norse in him!

Both great strong Danish names! If I had to choose ... i prefer Henrik.
By the way I'm half Danish and called my ds frederik (Danish spelling) but obviously he is just known as Freddy
