And yes, I know it's a surname as a name that does not bother me smile

Thoughts on Blake for a boy?

Homebird8 Wed 09-Jan-13 08:34:24

I know a 9 year old Blake. He is intelligent, fun loving, polite and caring. Not a name I'd choose for my own family but nothing wrong with it. Perfectly lovely.

I'm about the show my age here - instantly brought to mind 'Blake Seven' 1970's syfi show. and even earlier Blakey from on the Buses - seriously not a good nickname

I like it and am usually very traditional. It just flows nicely!

MirandaGoshawk Tue 08-Jan-13 22:07:20

It's Blake Lively from ... whatever that US TV programme was - spoilt brats all bitching about each other & nicking boyfriends. Too trendy.

MirandaGoshawk Tue 08-Jan-13 22:05:14

How about Clarke? Similar but stronger?

peachypips Tue 08-Jan-13 21:09:42

Reminds me of Flake. However, am on a diet so I see chocolate everywhere.
