Hi,
I'm 22 weeks and having a girl! But I have no idea what middle names with go with Georgia or Imogen...
I don't like old fashioned names or may/Mae...
Finding it so difficult as I get easily put off names!

Help would be appreciated :)

Imogen Zoe, Georgia Poppy

not sure what you'd consider old fashioned names, so bit harder yto think that way

I also like Viva (it's a version of Eva) or Ruby

So many names would go with either. Got any special relatives/ friends names you could use? I think it's lovely to have a middle name with a meaning or story behind it.

My mom is called Suzanne but my niece is named after her and don't particularly want to rain on my sisters parade... Then someone else is named after my partners mom, so were really struggling!
The reason we won't have Mae or May is because my little sister is Lacey-Mai, it would be nice if it was a meaning like the month she's born in (actually due in may!) but various reasons I can't do it!

amazing I like Georgia Poppy but our little lady is going to have a very awkward surname! (His is Pocock, mine is Pritchard.. Still contemplating who's she will have)

maybe you could have Suzie or Suzy instead - come on it's your mum as well, surely that's ok as a middle name!

my father-in law is David, has 4 sons, each with lots of kids and in each family there's a grandson with David as their middle name, I think it's really lovely - and I think he is very proud secretly!

(our surname also starts with a P so no Peter, Phoebe or Patricia!)

If you are wondering I vote Pritchard. sorry Dad! Smile

Another idea Imogen Rose or Georgia Rose?

Since I was first pregnant 12 years ago I only ever liked Elizabeth Grace for a girl, but had 5 boys in a row!
Knowing this my wonderful sisters-in-law kindly only used Elizabeth/Elisabeth as a middle name for 2 of our nieces, just in case we have a girl one day.
And last April we did! and it's so lovely that there's this sweet story about the name and our Elizabeth Grace has something special in common with her cousins!

amazing unfortunately, my mom hates being called anything other than Suzanne or sue and would probably hate the idea of us using her name in any other format!

My partner wants her to have his name.. But I want mine, so may end up being a double barrel! Which will definitely be a mouthful!

I originally loved Daisy and Grace but after finding out Daisy will be a very common name this year, I went off it rather quickly. With Grace, a friend named her baby Grace so that went out the window too!

Also, if my partner doesn't like a name, he won't hesitate in telling me so!

What about Joy? It goes particularly nicely with Imogen I think.

I think you definitely need something short. A bit off the wall, but what about Spring?!

If you don't feel you can use your Mum's name but want a family link to her middle name, what about Lily as a middle name as Suzanne means Lily from what I understand?
Imogen Lily or Georgia Lily, or Lillian perhaps?

Imogen and Georgia are both lovely by the way!

DD2 would have been Imogen Florence if I'd had my way. She has the Florence bit but a different first name. Rose is lovely too.
