I have two ds already Evan and the grey stuff you use to do pottery with a ton on the end of it(Dont want to be found on here).Hope that makes sense

So far list for ds3 is:
Finley
Oscar
Rupert(DP likes but I'm not so sure)
Zachary
Maximus
Jacob

don't like Rupert tbh but rest are fine - prefer Finlay or Findlay to Finley. My favourite of those would be Jacob.

Ha I think DP is the only one that likes Rupert. I also like Kyle and Tyler.

I would view Kyle and Tyler as a bit schemey or Chavvy as you say down south - your other names are modern style but adding one of those to the mix does make it sound a bit chavvy - sorry :(

names I think would go nicely with your other sons names are Keir, Lewis or Joe/Joseph.

I meant to say that your other names don't sound Chavvy, not sure if that came across right.

Amck That's what I worried about too.Yes they do sound a lil chavvy.I like to go for names that I don't hear yelled across the school playground.Everyone hates ds2s name but we all love it and it suits him perfectly

I know what you mean. What about Alexander? It would go nicely but not sure how common it is where you are. or maybe Thomas or Gregor/Gregory/Greig? I think a classic or medern classic might make a nice trio.

Oh another boy beautician :o congrats, we're having a girl (I used to chat to you on the may thread).

I love all of your names you've chosen and most of them were on my not so short list for boys names. I'd also add Isaac, Noah and Tobias to the list.

Catchingmockingbirds · 03/01/2013 18:52

And I don't think any sound chavvy.

above.

I am only going on the experience of where I am and both names, in particular Kyle have been used to death and mostly on council housing schemes. May be totally different where you or the OP live. Nothing wrong with the names in themselves, but when you add either to the existing names of the OP, it seems to bring them down a bit. No offence meant to anyone.

Does he want to name his son after a yellow bear in Tartan trousers??

I like Oscar :)

Although Oscar, along with Finlay and Jacob do seem to be v.popular ATM in my area atleast.

Tbh though my DS has a name that seems to be v.popular in his age group (and is rated chavvy on here Hmm) but it doesn't bother me so much as we like it.
