Jacques Russell

Ok, before people shoot me down in flames, let me explain...

This would be 2 middle names to go with a very lovely first name picked out if our bean turns out to be blue. And there is logic...

My darling, darling father died. He was very special to me and his name was Russell. I originally said I hate naming children after other people (I do) but now pregnant I strongly feel that I want his name in there somewhere if it's a boy.

The name on its own doesn't sound right, plus DH has always been set on Jacques for a boy but I vetoed it as a first name. Unfortunately, the other way round (Russell Jacques) doesn't work with the first name.

Of course I realise this is a small yappy breed of dog. But for the reason described, is this passable for middle names?

There was an English cricketer in the 80s/90s called Jack Russell. He's an artist now. For middle names and for your reasons I think it's fine.

I wouldn't do it, but then, it's not the worst name combo.
