I wouldn't choose it for my son but its not a bad name, I prefer Quinn.

Quinn would be the name we would use the most. DS1 has quite an unusual name which would match this...

Reminds me of Derek Quinlan too. Not a good thing.

I love the name Quinn and think that Quinlan would be a great full name!

Great name - cool, strong and underused. Quinn is a great nickname.

Just googled it and apparently it means 'fit' and 'strong' Smile.

Love the nickname Quinn - cool and a great initial!

I like it, go for it! Of course I'm American and we're not bothered by something being a surname. It's nice!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the name!
(It's my nephew's name, so I may be biased. He's only ever 'Quinnlan' when he's been naughty, though. The rest of the time, he's Quin).

The main problem I have with 'Quinn' is that it looks like Quim. I just can't read it as anything else.

So dreadfully awful.

Quinn is my maternal grandmothers surname, and Quinnlan was my neighbours surname. So, to my ears it's a surname, not a first name.

Love it! and Quin for short sounds ideal.

I know one Quinlan - a girl - although when I first saw the name written down I assumed it was a boy. It seems to suit her!

Quinn is a lovely boys name - I know a Quentin who goes by Quinn. Quinlan is also nice.
