Hmm, can't have Josephine, Lorelei, Isadora or Cora (already in use, in a way). I do like Valentina, but think it would sound daft with our accents.

I love Juno (tried to persuade DH previously but he wasn't feeling the love and may have put me off a bit by saying "D'you know this, D'you know that?). I quite like Hero, but think it might be a bit too "far" for me.

Any thoughts on Nova?

Cara? As the only Astrid I have ever met in RL has a sister called Cara Grin.

Don't be too sure you wouldn't have a boy though, I had only boys & assumed the baby would be a boy too - she isn't Grin.

Oh, and I went to school with a Nova - her nn was Vauxhall Sad. Although, I don't think they are made anymore so may be a non-issue.

See, I didn't think of a car, I thought if the (also possibly defunct) fashion magazine. Now I just think it's a beautiful name.

Some interesting thoughts, can't have Luna (Lois and Luna doesn't sound right).

Already have Celeste in use for dd3, so Seraphina is knocked out for that reason. Henrietta, um no, not really to my taste (and would sound foul with a Scottish and Cumbrian accent).

Cara is too similar to Cora, which is in use by a close family member. Allegra is nice, but first three letters of surname are Gra, which means it sounds a bit odd.

Stephanie is a no, as my brother is Steven and dad is Ellie. Nola is nice, although my iPad auto corrected to Nolan Grin.

Don't want anything to frilly, maybe something ending in a consonant as not overly keen on names ending in a/y/ie.

Thanks for input so far!
