Stuck for name for dd2, grateful for help and opinions!

Please help, i'm getting very frustrated at our inability to make a decision, we're stumped! Feel like we went through every name possibility with dd1 and I want to make sure dd2's name is not a case of 'oh that'll do!' it has to be just as special.

Our surname is 2 syllables and begins with a W. Dd1 is Nia Seren Wxxxxxx so needs to sound ok with Nia.

So far we kind of like Holly or Ella... Can you let me know what you think of these and suggest any others that might fit?

Thanks so much! This is my first post so go easy on me!

I like both of those..but I guess my favourite would be Ella.
Do you want a second name too? May is nice with those names...
Ella may..W

Holly and Ella are lovely but there are a lot of Ella and Ellie type names around.

When is the baby due?

Thanks for the replies! She's due nov 5th but dd1 was 5 weeks early so I'll have my bag packed and ready in October!

Nia and Cleo
Nia and Zara
Nia and Anya
Nia and Una

Am thinking along the lines of short-ish, not too wild but a bit different, room for a middle name, and sounds 'right' with DD1?

The only reason I ask is because, to me, Holly is a very wintery name.

I Love Anya though Ivana!

It was on the (very short) short list for DD... Pipped to the post in the end but think DH was very taken with it in particular :)

P.s I think Holly us nice but better when spelt Hollie

Thanks ladies! Anya is lovely.

Something short and easy to spell is ideal. Our surname is quite rare, so don't want to lumber the little one with two names she has to spell out! That's the only reason I was verging on Holly rather than Hollie, as I'm guessing most people will assume this spelling and so she won't have to spend her life correcting them. Agree Hollie looks prettier written though.

Grateful for any more suggestions!

You don't say you are set on another welsh name but I think that would work well with your DD1.

Cerys and Carys are my very favourite welsh names. Megan is also lovely. Both work well with Nia IMO.

Or of course Celyn is Welsh for Holly and also nice.

(Though that might not meet your "don't want to have to spell it out" criteria.)

There are some fab names in these posts, thanks so much everyone! It really helps to have some fresh ideas because I've been going round in circles. Particularly like Tess and Polly. Am going off Ella think its probably a bit too popular atm, but still keen on Holly.

please use Tess. It sounds fab with Nia and I won't get to use it now as this one is definitely another boy.
