I was thinking just Juney. After a beautiful lady I know. June... reminds me of an accountant my mum used to work with so wouldn't use that as the name on the birth certificate. :)

Yeah June-ey.. I think of it as understated and fun! But point taken. :) Juniper is lovely but would it be 'try hard' compared to the simplicity of Juney? I don't know, doesn't seem to have the same feel?

Juno I couldn't do because of the film, and also because it seems a lot more masculine than Juney.

Genuine question, is it the same as Elsie, Alfie, Charlie etc, in the sense that it could be a given name as opposed to a NN? I personally always found those names a bit twee but somehow Juney doesn't have that same feel to me? No idea if it is just me though.

I think you run the risk of people getting her name wrong and thinking it is a typo of 'Jenny.' Personally I think kids should be given the 'option' of having a 'proper' version of a name but if you really like it then why not. I'm sure there must be other long versions of names similar to Juney other than Juniper. I think it's kind of cool though- she'd be the only Juniper in school!

Sorry but I think Juney is awful. It's A made up name, and she will always have to tell people how to spell or pronounce it.
June is quite nice though. You don't hear if many Junes these days
