Is Frankie short for Francesca? I love this. But Grin is Milla, just Milla or Camilla or Milena?, again all of which I love. I realise I'm no help - but they are lovely names.

I love Frankie for Francesca

Milla is what DD1 is called by her cousin (name is Amelia!) so that is lovely as a name in it's own right too.

Hmmm, sorry no help and a pointless post Smile

Frankie is a short form of Francesca ,but I would love have on birth certificate Frankie anyway,if possible. Milla is not short form of any name,it's Serbian name.

Milla is beautiful, there is a little girl at DS playgroup called Milla Rose and everytime her Mum says her name I can not believe how lovely it keeps sounding.Frankie okish but not in the same league as Milla.

Mila is short for the Spanish name milagros which means miracles.

I love frankie for a girl. You don't mention if you are haing a boy, a girl or a surprise.

I think they each conjure up a different personality.

Milla to me sounds calm, feminine.

Frankie sounds funky, energetic.

How about waiting until your baby arrives and maybe she'll decide this for you!

I think Mila (just one "l") is a nickname for Miloslava which is Czech and short for Milica (Serbian) so I don't like it as a full name, but as a nickname it is ok.

Francesca is a fabulous name for a girl and Frankie is a great nickname. So unless you are Czech or Serbian and will use the full name, I would go for Francesca for sure.
