For boys i like Aneurin and Taliesin - but DP's not keen!

For girls I like Arianwen and Ceridwen
I also like Cerys and Seren but both a bit too popular now.


Any suggestions would be brilliant :)

I have a Taliesin. It's a brilliant name, I love it. Tal for short. I might also have Aneurin in mind if I ever have another boy...

I've always liked Heledd - I think it's hardd iawn my friend likes Enfys, and I saw Esyllt recently and thought it sweet. I also taught a little Siwan recently. And I've just remembered that I like Gwenllian too.

Can I ask how you pronounce Taliesin? I've only ever seen it written down and think its lovely. DP likes Dylan for a boy but most of my family are English so he'd be called Dillon by my family instead of the roper welsh version.

To be honest, I really like Aderyn as well. I know it's 'bird' but it seems to me that names that mean things are still quite Popular in Wales and she could be Addie or Ryn or something for short

I LOVE Siwan and wanted it very badly for little DD. Being pregnant and hormonal, I got hung up on the fact her surname begins with K, then couldn't get past the word 'wank' hidden in her name. Which probably doesn't occur to most folk and if that's the case, I feel very for not picking it!
