we have a longish surname so 1 or 2 syllables sounds best. Suggestions could be pretty 'way out' or maybe classic but under-used. Coco is on my list and love blythe and posey but for various reason can't have these last two. Help me add to my list please!

I know a little girl called Bay. It wouldn't normally fit my Name Rules but it is quirky and cool on her.

Blyth is a bit of a downtrodden town in the NE of England. So good job you can't have it!

Dove? Each to their own and that but Dove?...

love bay but sadly couldn't have it, can't explain why without possibly outing myself, sorry. Not heard tansy before, think i like it :) forgot about Alice, not exactly unusual, but very lovely, will pop it on! I like French names too, but think I'm not brave enough to use them as I'll shortly be moving to a French speaking country and won't really understand which names are common, grannyish etc iyswim

Tansy is a little wildflower. A character in a book I like very much has one for luck.

Apparently it reduces flatulence and prevents miscarriage. Biscuit
