So, DH and I have a short surname beginning with F (think, for example, Finn).
I love the name Raphael for our DS (due in 8 weeks). But obviously it will be shortened to Raffy or Rafa and I'm just not sure this goes well with an F surname e.g. Raffy Finn? It's a bit fff-y.
Other names we currently like, but not enough to agree on are Alexander (too popular round here), Benjamin (not sure), and Nicolas (current other front runner, NN Nico). MN will be Edward.
If you don't think Raphael works, could you make some other suggestions?
