Hiya, I am struggling to find a name for DD2 and need something that would work in English and Spanish. What do you think of these?
Clara
Elsa
C(h)ristina
Anna (my grandmother's name)
Amalia (my mum's name)
Amaya
Suggestions welcome!

I think they are all pretty names. I think though if you went for Amalia you would find a lot of people in England would automatically call her Amelia.

Clara or Christina - both lovely.

I really like Elsa (DH vetoed it as our friend's mum is called Elsie and it reminds him of her - which I didn't think was a bad thing, she is lovely, but he thought it was weird). I love the lion connection too. Elsa is my favourite.

Also like Clara.

Clara, I think. I like Isabel as a suggestion. Just about my favourite name. or Ana.

I really like Ana with just one n as it is spelt in Spain but do you think people will make 'anal' jokes? Am I just worrying too much?

I love Amaya and Christina.

Ana is the name given to anorexia by sufferers, isn't it?? Sorry, that's what would spring to mind for me.

Isabel is so so popular - I know about a dozen baby Isobel/Isabelle/Ishbels.

Love Clara and Christina. My cousin is married to a Spanish Rebecca - a possibility?

Ooh, Rebecca could work nicely

Christina, Anna and Amaya are all very nice. Clara is OK. Not keen on Elsa and Amalia.

All your choices sound fine. Other suggestion would be Sofia/Sophia.

New one for the list: Lara

Like them all but on a separate thread Amaya was mentioned with the possible connotations of "am I a....?"
