Looking for inspiration

We are expecting our third baby in a few weeks and have made some progress with looking at baby names. Well, I did a list a few weeks ago but having had a fresh look think I might have been a little hormonal at the time and had to cross several off the list. Have always found one boys name that we both really love but do struggle more with girls names. Am not big on trendy or hipster names (I don't think) and would really appreciate views on the following:

Boys:

Leo - thats pretty much it. I also like Alexander but dh said no.

Girls:

Flora - love it but the interflora/margarine thing puts me off
Louisa - OK, but not keen on Lou
Eliza
Vita - I like this although think it should be nn - not sure on full name version (apart from 'vitamin'...)
Erin
Rowan
Cora
Rosie - love it but a good friend has called her DD Rosie

Leo - love this name, and also love Alexander

Flora - I think of margarine, but perfectly nice name
Louisa - love
Eliza - love
Vita - I'm not keen on it. It means life in Italian.
Erin - love
Rowan - I consider it a boys name. How about Robyn instead. Love Robyn for a girl.
Cora - fab name
Rosie - love

Perhaps Vita could be a nn for Victoria.

If it helps Leo was my 1st choice for a boys name, I love it but 3dds later think I'll have to retire it Grin.

Not a fan of Flora (margarine issues), I love Rosa, not a fan of Rosie. Your other girls names are lovely, I know a lot of Erins and Cora is bit Downton Abbeyish but no harm in that - I have a baby Anna and was told it was a Downton name Grin

Vita as nickname for Verity?

Love Erin.

Love Cora. Am stealing that Grin

Do you need more boys ideas?

Ethan, Isaac, Theo, Oscar...?

Lots of ideas - thank you! I don't watch Downton so was unaware of the connection and as I don't know the character not sure if its a good thing or not! WIll have to check. I did think of Cara instead (is that Italian as well?).

Does Leo have a long version - I know Leonard (not keen at all) or Leonoardo (which is a bit much for me) but not sure of any others.

I didn't know Vita meant life either, really should google these things first. Am not overly keen on Victoria, and a good friend has a DD called Verity - am still not really sure on the whole using names of other peoples children. I know for some its a big no, but there aren't enough names to go around so am not sure at what point it becomes a problem. It is tricky as I also like Rosa but thats been taken as well - and the long versions of these type of names (can think of Rosamund/Rosalind/Rosemary) which might be more flexible for an adult are a bit much for me.

I was just going to use Leo as a stand alone name. I really like Cara, I'm Irish and know a couple of baby Caras its lovely.

Flora - Gorgeous.
Louisa - Lovely.
Eliza - Love.
Vita - I like it, and I like the fns I'm coming up with for it, but all the fns make me think of Ryvita!
Erin - Love.
Rowan - Has become a boys name for me.
Cora - Absolutely gorgeous.
Rosie - Don't like. Okay as a nn, but can't stand as a full name.

Faves in bold.

Flora - Love.
Louisa - not keen.
Eliza - prefer Elisabeth. Eliza is all My Fair Lady to me unforch.
Vita - I would go with Victoria and nn her Vita.
Erin - No.
Rowan - OK.
Cora - Beautiful. Will become more popular over the next ten years IMO.
Rosie - prefer Rose.

What about Anna? Also: Coralie.
