Looking to see what's popular or fun and unusual.

I think Dualit and Nespresso are rather pretty.

I've met a couple of Jeans, and heard of an Enid. So I'm thinking almost-ugly end of grandma names. I think these little girls will carry off their names just fine as they grow up, but right now, all the mums of the Avas and Evies and Ellas are gasping behind Jeans'/Enids' mums' backs and saying 'ooh how could they?'.

What about South London mums? And what about West London? And East London?

I actually heard a 'how could they?' last week, referring to a baby Mabel.

Jean is lovely - cool and snappy.

The North London babies I know are called Romy, Esme, Lila and Amelia.

North London is so diverse,it could go from Eva,Amelia and Esme to Tequila,Rihanna and Beyonce Wink depending on the post code.

Well it tends to be Evie, Isabella, Charlotte, Beatrice or Harriet, or Crystal, Kesia, Shanayah or other unique names depending on where you hang out?

Hmm we're thinking Beatrice or Charlotte but a bit worried that everyone else is too!

No more Beatrices please. I used it for dd3 5 years ago when nobody else did and now it's alrmingly close to being in the top 100! Just stop now.

We like Charlotte but don't like that its so popular so had thought that Beatrice would be more unusual. I've not met any small people called Beatrice BUT its popular on mumsnet so I was wondering if it was becoming an "in" name.
