Spencer and Sidney are lovely.

I dislike Archie/Alfie type names and Noah sounds a little girly (but only because I know a female Noa)

I know a Noah and an Archie and think these are quite popular at the moment - not that this matters, I love Sophie and know thats extremely popular, I was just saying! :-)

I quite like Spencer and that less common. Dont like Sid though...

I like Archie best, and Sid if it's a nn. Noah is OK. Spencer is a perfectly good name, but I'm not keen.

Noah by miles.

How about Miles?

I like Sidney, with Sid for short. Noah is OK but a bit of a "tired" fashion name now. Not keen on Archie - don't like nicknames as first names but dislike Archibald. Spencer too surnamey.

Noah: like this. I know it is supposed to be very popular, but I don't know any IRL whereas I know 3 preschool Archies.
Spencer: too surnamey. Don't like.
Archie: don't like boys' names that end in."ie". Think they sound weak and in my experience Archie is quite common.
Sid: quite like if use Sidney on bc.

I quite like Spencer and Sid (Sidney on bc).

Don't like cutesy type names (Archie, Alfie, Albie etc) and agree that they sound twee and weak. They'll also date more than more solid names imo.

Noah is ok but quite popular. I personally don't like boys names ending in -a or -ah.

Not a fan of Spencer or Sid. Noah is ok and, although for me popularity as such is not an issue when choosing a name I do think Archie is very much "of the moment" and so might not age well (I realize it is an old-fashioned name but not one that has always been popular a la William/Edward etc.. - hope that makes sense!).

Noah or Spencer, although they are very different types of name. Which one feels more 'you'?

Noah is sweet, popular though. What about Jonah?

Far too many Archie's around atm.

Noah and Archie are too common. I LOVE Sid. DD would have been Stan if she came out a DS - do you like that?

I like Noah and Sid.

Oh my goodness! I am due so very soon and still very undecided! YIKES! I was so set on Noah and now my DH has, not so conveniently, said that he is no longer keen on Noah (I'm still hoping he will change his mind)!!

Does anyone have any other suggestions?

I forgot to mention before that we already have an Oscar so it has to sound good with that!

Noah and Sid, Spencer's a bit 80s for my liking.

There's an awful lot of exclamation marks on this threadHmm. Don't remember it being a symptom of pregnancy myselfGrin.

I like Archie a lot even though it is popular (not necessarily a bad thing just means a lot of people share your taste Smile)

I also like Sid although am wondering if Sidney is now more of a girls name Hmm

Archie is overdone imo and Noah sounds a little feminine to me. I like Spencer and Sidney best.

Out of all of them I prefer Archie.

I have my dad name was David but he was always known as Sidney or Sid.

Only like Noah. Spencer is terrible imho and I really don't like Archie/Alfie type names.

Noah and love Jonah, as suggested earlier in thread.
