5 days to go. Got girls names sorted but not boys. Already have an Aidan and an Elena in the family. Trying to get away from top ten names (James the obvious exception as I have always loved this name).

Here goes latest list reads as follows:

Tristan
Jasper
Austin (family name)
Alexander (Alex)
James
Tate
Fraser
Marcus
Toby

Tending towards Jasper as close to James but quirkier. What do you think? Like Alex and Austin too but two A named boys in the family?

Jasper - OK but prefer James
Austin - like
Alexander (Alex) - like
James - like
Tate - dislike, slang for potato
Fraser - dislike, harsh
Marcus - OK but prefer Mark as less frilly
Toby - not keen

I like them all except Jasper and Tate.

Alexander seems pretty popular at the moment if that dissuades you. I don't think it's a probably to have two A names though.

I have had a similar thread going.

I like Alex and Tristan too. - DP won't consider them.

We liked Toby for a while.

We already have an austin in the family too.

James - ex boyfriend so no go.

Marcus - like. It's my best friends dp name.

Tristan - Like this a lot.
Jasper - No, awful ..and reminds me of that Carrot chap!
Austin (family name) - Okay, but very 'American' to my ears.
Alexander (Alex) - Lovely.
James - Lovely.
Tate - No, too surnamey.
Fraser - No, again very surnamey.
Marcus - Like.
Toby - Very popular, and rather cutsie I find.

Tristan Alexander would be a fabulous combination would it not? Smile

Jasper - slang name for wasps
Austin (family name) - depends on you rlast name but could be good
Alexander (Alex) - always think of Alex as a girls name myself
James - love
Tate - surname, no
Fraser - like
Marcus - considered this myself but prefer Mark
Toby - OK but quite popular

I like Marcus best of your list. I know 2 Aidans with brothers, Ryan and Conrad.

If you do middle names, Jasper James has a ring to it.
