Looking for a pushchair? Find out which stroller is our Mumsnet Best of 2017!
This is dc4, 3rd boy. I'm very picky about names and I'm not keen on anything really popular. We already have (f) Robyn Elizabeth, Caelan Andrew and Tobin George.Out surname is awkward - two syllabuls, starts with an 's' and ends with 'er' - which makes it quite difficult for names to sound right to me.I would much prefer a Gaelic name, but not one that's too hard to spell. I also 'need' to have different initials for each child.I have a list of about a dozen names that I found on the registrar's list from last year, but atm I'm favouring either:Gethin David or Morgan Patrick.Any opinions? Or suggestions? Thanks.
I like both Gethin and Morgan, with Morgan in the lead by a very narrow margin.
Thanks for the feedback.I'm pretty sure I like them both, but undecided what the favourite is.
I love gethin, always have
Gethin is more interesting, I think. How do you pronounce Caelan?
I haven't really mentioned Gethin to anyone who's asked about names because I thought they would think it weird. Thanks for the positive responses. We pronounce Caelan as Kay-lan, although I'm aware that may not be totally correct.
Gethin is just lovely and compliments your other DCs very nicelyKillian too near to CaelanWhat about Struan, Kinnear or Greer
