Charlie - but a friend has a boy Charlie, and it's too common
Jo(ey) -but don't like, Dawson's Creek

Actually once male names start to be used for girls they essentially become girls' names.

Yeah I seem to like the shortened names better!

I like Jamie I think, and Robin/Robyn. Not sure about Bobbi/y.
None of yours BC, sorry.grin Nor Carrie, Morgan,Maddison. Nor Evelyn.

Alison? Meredith? Didn't know they're for boys as well??

I knew a girl called James. She was very cool.

Sidney / Sydney?

comedaygoday Tue 20-Sep-11 14:10:00

I suppose you could include Elisha. To me, this is clearly a boy's name, it's the name of an Old Testament prophet, but I have seen it used for girls.

MyRightToAdvice Tue 20-Sep-11 14:11:30

ooh yes forgot about Sidney - i do like Sidney I think. I love Alias! grin
But it's a weird one because i HATE it for a boy!! ...

I know a Jaymi, quite like that spelling.

Janoschi Tue 20-Sep-11 14:15:18

We have a girl Robin, known as Bob. I also know a girl Peta... ?

chrisrobin Tue 20-Sep-11 14:36:04

Yep, both Alison and Meredith started out as boys names.
