3rd DC and an awkward surname!

So DH and I are getting ready for the arrival of our third DC and are thinking about names. However, our surname (Wilde) is so awkward! We really need a two or three sylable name and don't want it to start with the same initial of either of boys (their names start with A and C). Starting to see the dialema? Also, me and DH can' agree on anything so what do you think of some of our ideas?

Eloise (DH hates)
Jemima (I hate)
Georgina (both like but not massively)
Violet (I love, a maybe for DH)
Darcy (both like but not gone down well with others)

Todd (doesn't really fit with surname)
Darwin (DH suggestion)
Fergus (we aren't Scottish or Irish)
Haydn (I love it against my better judgement!)
Roman (is it too much?)

What do you think of what we like so far? Also any other suggestions would be gratefully recieved!

P.S we have had the 'suggestion' of Oscar about ten times!

I totally love the name Roman...I would love to have it but we live in Ireland and its too close to the name Ronan (which i don't like)

Roman Wilde sounds very grown up for a little baby! Todd Wilde on the other hand is gorgeous! Not mad about any of the girls names with your surname.

Ignoring the names that one or other of you hates:
I like Georgina, esp if you like the nn Georgie (Georgie Wilde sounds like a good combo to me)
Both Darcy and Violet are pretty but maybe a bit awkward to say with your surname?

What about Laura?

Boys
Similarly think that Haydn and Roman are difficult with the surname

I like Fergus the best, and not at all sure that you would have to be Scottish or Irish, I don't think its too obviously Celtic.

Roman Wilde sounds very grown up for a little baby!

Hmm Is there a problem with that?

--------

Violet is uncomfortably close to Violent, and might not be a wise choice with Wilde .....

Girls names ending in a seem to work
Gemma, Emma, Georgina and Rebecca work for me. Anna does too, but it's a bit dull.
I know a Hester with a similar surname and that's ok too.

I second the suggestion of Louisa instead of Eloise - Louisa Wilde is lovely.

I went to school with a Saskia who had a similar name which I always thought was fab!

Patrick Wilde is also rather nice.

I'm not keen on the name Jemima either but Jemima Wilde looks and sounds great!

So does Fergus Wilde.

And Hayden Wilde.

I think I just really like your surname.

Like Georgina - or maybe Georgia of the girl choices. Violet's nice but not with that surname. Not keen on any of the boys' names, really.
Please not Darwin Wilde, it sounds like a chimp from a movie.

I know a "Wilde" family. Their DDs are Brittany, Natalie & Melody. Not sure if that helps? Possibly not Hmm.

The DS I'm pretty sure is Gregory which isn't too bad IMO.
