Old Lady Cool names?

Got a boy's name picked (we think). Got lots of time left but just thinking about a girl's name. Got DD, Olivia, and would like something charming and elegant to go with it. Love old lady cool names like Molly and Maisie but two friends' snatched these already. Any more ideas? Thought of Isobel, Anna, Emily, Hannah, but would love lots of like-minded suggestions!

Molly, Maisie, Isobel, Anna, Emily, Hannah are not old lady cool names!!!! They are sweet-little-girl-everywhere names!!

For old lady cool I would think more along the lines of....

Agnes, Pearl, Martha, Maud, Iris, Jean.... erm, these are just the first obviousl ones that spring to mind, sure there's many more cooler ones but tis a little late for my brain cell!

good luck! and congratulations! what's your boy's name? old man cool??

smother maybe I like the idea of doing old lady cool but am just a sweet simple tasted girl after all! :) Do LOVE Iris though.
Boy's name Noah - loved it before it got trendy and love it's biblical meaning and resonance. Olivia means peace ie olive branch and noah means rest - would love my house to be filled with peace and rest....
Thankyou MelinaM for Audrey, Greta and Martha, all sound just what I'm looking for. Now to get hubby onside.

Some fantastic names on here. It has made me want another girl...

Hester is, of course, cooler than cool. But my favourites on here so far are Ada, Stella, Edith, Cora, Myrtle and Anna.

Oh, and how about Sadie, Violet, Jenny?
