Grumpla Wed 24-Aug-11 09:31:32

SaulGood Wed 24-Aug-11 09:32:45

tammytoby Wed 24-Aug-11 12:24:37

Dislike it. Nickname Jenny wouldn't be good either, sorry.

cookielove Wed 24-Aug-11 12:25:39

I like it, i do think Button, but then wouldn't Button be a really cute nickname <ahhhhhhh>

OvO Wed 24-Aug-11 12:36:28

But I'm not actually that fond of Jensen as a name.

poppydaisy Wed 24-Aug-11 13:19:06

Don't like Jensen and can't think of any nice nicknames either (Jen, Jenny, Jensy). Sorry.

blushingm Wed 24-Aug-11 14:36:03

i know 2 jensens - one a little gorgeous boy who is 4 and a grown man who is super intelligent, so i like

I also think of button (but he's sexy so nothing wrong with that) and also the Jensen Interceptor

evamummy Wed 24-Aug-11 14:47:43

This is what I think when I hear the name Jensen

comedaygoday Wed 24-Aug-11 15:15:03

Sorry to join with the general negativity, but I don't like it. I would assume you'd either chosen the name because of the racing driver or the make of car, and tbh I'd think that was a bit naff.

pinkgirlythoughts Wed 24-Aug-11 15:18:19

I also know of two Jensons, both under 6 months old, and no others, so I suspect it's going to become quite a 'trendy' name.

QueenoftheVerse Wed 24-Aug-11 15:21:36

Hmmmmmmm Button AND Ackles yum yum yum grin

ConstanceNoring Wed 24-Aug-11 15:26:03

Jensen = I think steam engine

Jenson = I think Button, - but that's not a bad thing <fluster>

kelly2000 Wed 24-Aug-11 17:28:14

jensen, I think of the surname, Jenson i think of the F1 driver, and whilst I like the name I cannot stand him.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. A resounding nay!

I've got 25 weeks to go so plenty of time x

happyjules Wed 24-Aug-11 21:18:49

I love it particularly inspired by Mr B and as an F1 nut it was lined up for our first child seven years ago who turned out to be a girl followed by another girl. If we do ever have a third child it would still be my choce for a boy. It is so hard to find nice bys names,

Desiderata Wed 24-Aug-11 21:20:59

I love it, personally.

Is there a problem with naming your son after a world-class F1 driver?

'tis better than Norman.

Coldcuppacoffee Wed 24-Aug-11 21:22:47

It's risen in popularity because of Mr Button. By the time the child is at secondary school, no one will have heard of him.
