hmm

EskimoPie Tue 16-Aug-11 22:01:50

Why?

She may not...

Is she American?

Moulesfrites Tue 16-Aug-11 22:02:04

umm, dislike.

May/mae is too ubiquitous as a middle name.

Lacey May seems very infantile - I can't see her as Prime Minister, which is one of my tests!

Sorry.

redglow Tue 16-Aug-11 22:02:07

Very pretty and unusual

redglow Tue 16-Aug-11 22:06:24

What does infantile mean what names do you see as a prime minister moules frites

mayanna123 Tue 16-Aug-11 22:14:55

I'm not keen but do YOU like it?

LynetteScavo Tue 16-Aug-11 22:19:26

Not a name I would give to my daughter.

For redglow;

in·fan·tile   [in-fuhn-tahyl, -til]
adjective

Characteristic of or befitting an infant; babyish; childish: infantile behavior.

RitaMorgan Tue 16-Aug-11 22:20:37

I think Lacey is fine, but I don't like hypenated names and Lacey-May is a bit too cutesy.

PeopleCallMeTricky Tue 16-Aug-11 22:26:46

Used to work with a Lacey, known as "lacey knickers". She wasn't a very nice person either from what I saw of her.

redglow Tue 16-Aug-11 22:28:34

Wonder what part of the country you come from the second comming the two year olds round here dont wear stuff like that. Yes it was harsh.

HerRoyalNotness Tue 16-Aug-11 22:29:35

If your last name is Fotherington-Smythe, you may just get away with it. However, if it is something like Hicks, you won't.

popcornchicken Tue 16-Aug-11 22:32:23

herroyalnotness that did not make one bit of sence to me :S

Hideous but then you would think my DC's name hideous.

Moulesfrites I did the same with my DCs, DS could be fashion designer or Major General.

needanewname Wed 17-Aug-11 00:03:56

Personally I don't like it.
