I like classic, traditional names that don't date and I want to use mine or DP's parents names as middles names (Dawn/Christine and Stephen/Michael)

Elizabeth (nn Libby)
Victoria
Alexandra
Catherine (nn Kitty)

Daniel
Nathaniel (nn Nate)
Joshua
William

Any thoughts?

All lovely names, nice idea to use parents names for middle names as well (we did Grin).

I like Elizabeth or Catherine best (and love those nicknames). Of the boys names, I like Daniel and William I think. Haven't heard of many Daniels around these days either.

Daniel Stephen
Nathaniel Stephen/Michael it's a toss up
Joshua Michael
William Michael

Daniel is nice as is Joshua. William is alright. Nathaniel I don't like, way prefer Nate (if you like the Nate part maybe Nathan as it can still be a nn)

Elizabeth Dawn (marginally i think)
Victoria Christine (marginally i think)
Alexandra Christine
Catherine Dawn

Not really a fan of Elizabeth (z or s i don't mind) but Libby is far better than all other nn for it. Victoria is alright. Alexandra I can't stand but can't give you a reason. Catherine I really like and kitty is different on the nn front (in a good way)

Lovely names.

In order of preference:

Elizabeth nn Libby (though I like Elisabeth even more)
Catherine nn Kitty
Alexandra
Victoria (last because I'm not keen on nn Vicky - but guess you could use Vix or Vee instead).

Boys names in the order you have written them - I particularly like Daniel and Nathaniel - though I prefer Nat to Nate.

I'm not keen on vicky as a nn either, would probably use tori. Do you think a Victoria will inevitably be called vicky at school etc?

They're all Ok and wont raise any negative eyebrows in any circle (top to bottom of the social scale). I've put them in preference order and added which nickname I think works best.

Elizabeth (nn Libby) Dawn
Alexandra Christine
Catherine (nn Kitty) Dawn
Victoria Christine

Nathaniel (nn Nate) Stephen
Daniel Stephen
William Michael
Joshua Michael

I especially like the ones that shorten to Libby, Kitty or Nate because they allow a little more cuteness for the little person years and a touch of cool for those awkward teenage years.

They're all nice classic names.

I really dislike Libby and Kitty though, sorry! Prefer Liz/Beth and Cathy/Katie.

Victoria Christine or Alexandra Dawn for a girl

Daniel Stephen or Joshua Michael for a boy.

middles names (Dawn/Christine and Stephen/Michael)

Lovely to see traditional names making a come back!!! Elizabeth is a family name of mine, so I had that as well. If you're interested, mine in order of preference:-

Alexandra Christine
Catherine (nn Kitty) Dawn
Elizabeth (Libby) Christine (Elizabeth Dawn is the name of the lady who played Vera Duckworth incidently)!
Victoria Christine

William Michael
Nathaniel (Nat) Michael
Joshua Stephen
Daniel Stephen (Daniel is really popular where I live, I work in a nursery where there are 3 of them)!!!!

It is nice to have parents names - I've done the same thing and now trying to think of names for my 3rd!!!!! Good luck!
