Sister name for Lola

Ok so we've been through almost every top100 names list for umpteen countries, used loads of baby name generators and the likes and are still drawing a complete blank with a name for our daughter due in under 7 weeks. We already have a daughter named Lola. Any suggestions?

bonsoir Not feeling those names at all.
bagelmonkey My partner hates Scarlett was one of my faves though :( . Liking Grace but not sure if it's a bit wishy washy if you know what i mean, lol?! Same with Hannah. Lola is quite a strong name. A good name for an only child I fear!!

What a shame your partner hates Scarlett.

First one that came to my mind!

Missed off: Zoe
(also like Charlotte, nn Lotte, but then you'd risk her being called Charlie and you'd have a Charlie and Lola - which would be cruel.)

Iamkenny Me and my partner both love Ruby but just found out through facebook a friend of a friend has just named her little girl Ruby so I don't know if I can still use it?! I'm very unlikely to meet this person and we have liked the name since our first child....I think it's fine to use my partner isn't so sure?!
I know loads of Lily's and a few dogs named Poppy and Milly so not keen on them.
Rickghastley not to my tastes!

A friend or a friend? That you are never going to meet? Use it. You like it, you don't know the other DC so just go for it (I would)

FakePlasticTrees Charlie and Lola would be too Cruel lol! Don't think any of those names are as strong as Lola and where I live in Scotland there all quite common and old-fashioned...except Eloide, never heard of that!!

Only Lola we know has a sister called Emmie (I think that is her full name).
Am amused you think of Lola as a strong name, I think of it as wishy washy when used by English speakers.

I completely disagree with you ragged although maybe I think of it as a strong name because of the personality of my daughter. Also the sound of a name probably varies regionally, I know the English pronounce it very differently to us Scots!
