Baby girl has arrived! Middle name help

Our beautiful baby daughter arrived safely on Friday. We've settle on the name Miranda, just need a middle name now before we go public!

Whilst I was pregnant we came up with

Miranda Rose
Miranda Iris
Miranda Elisabeth (is this spelling welsh?)

My husband just came up with Miranda Charlotte which I think is ever so pretty but do you think people would think that's sex and the city overload?!

Opinions gratefully received

Pip x

After reading the first line I thought Miranda Rose - didn't realise it was on your list! Congratulations:)

I think Miranda Charlotte sounds really nice, I dont watch sex and the city so i didnt associate those names with that. If you like it go for it, sex and the city wont be around for long, are they even still making new episodes? I also think Miranda Rose is nice, altho i think Rose had become a very popular middle name recently.

Congratulations and welcome baby Miranda Smile

All are very pretty - is there not a name that has more of a meaning to you and your DH?

Miranda Elizabeth for me. Rose is so overused

Firstly congratulations!:)
Agree that Rose as a middle name is very popular, but that's because it's lovely. Miranda Rose would be my favourite from your list, followed by Elisabeth,Charlotte and Iris respectively.
As you seem to like flower names how about

Miranda Daisy ?

Congratulations!
I have to say I prefer Miranda Iris (my dd age 10 is Iris - lovely name and goes perfectly with Miranda)
Second I like Miranda Elisabeth.
Not keen on Miranda Rose (to me it sounds like she is getting out of bed - 'Miranda Rose from her deep slumber') and I am not keen on the name Charlotte.

Miranda Elisabeth is lovely, it's not a Welsh spelling just a 'variation' on Elizabeth.

I read Miranda Charlotte and immediately thought 'Sex and the City', and I've never even watched it, sorry!

I think Miranda Iris is the best of your choices, but they are all nice :)

Miranda Rose

Miranda Rose- too many 'rs' and Rose is v overused as a mn
Miranda Elizabeth- okay but flow not great as a vowel followed by a vowel
Miranda Iris- as above
Miranda Charlotte- my favourite

These would be nicer, I think:
Miranda Catherine/ Kate
Miranda Lucy
Miranda Violet
Miranda Juliet
Miranda Josephine
Miranda Jane
Miranda Celeste

Rose is very over sued as a middle name.

Miranda Elisabeth is very nice and I love Miranda Violet.

I think it needs to be one syllable, and not starting with a vowel. So Rose is nice but a little predictable, or you could have Jane, Ruth, Fleur

I agree with Rhubarb about the middle name being one syllable (to balance the three syllables in Miranda).

Personnally I think Miranda Rose sounds lovely and I'm not bothered about it being quite popular, but other suggestions could be

May / Mae
Maeve
(if you don't like alliteration you will probably reject those!)
Hope
Leigh
Kay
Grace
Elle
Pearl
Joy
Beth
Belle

Not Rose. Every little girl born in the last five years has Rose as a middle name,

Miranda Clare?

I like Miranda Roo, how about Miranda Ruby?

Miranda Rose or Miranda Lily sounds good too.

Love Miranda Fleur or Miranda Iris although agree that a one syllable second name sounds best.My name has three syllables and my second name is Jane,I also like Miranda Kate

Another vote for the "Rose is way over-used" camp. I think Miranda Jane would be fab, but of your choices Miranda Iris is my fave as its the most unusual.
Congratulations!
