Is Jasper fab or drab next to these sibling names...?

Two boys named Felix and Theodore - we love their names to bits and want an equally fabulous boy name to go with them.

Do you think Jasper is a bit boring/predictable after Felix and Theodore. I love it but want to know what you think.

Any other suggestions?

I also love Sebastian but think thank definitely falls into the predictable category. I guess for our last child I want to go a tiny bit left field to make the set of names remarkable (to me).

I don't like it but it goes well with the others and I don't see it as drab.

i have a Theodore and an Angus, who is known as Gus.
also really liked Christian with the nickname Kit.

i do like Jasper and think it goes well with his brothers' names, so unless there's something else you adore, i would stick with Jasper.

congratulations Smile

Jasper is fab. Actually i think it's more unusual then Felix OR Theo! At least it is round our way.
Congrats.

I prefer Sebastian to Jasper, but appreciate that's not what you're asking...

Jasper is utterly fab, and works wonderfully with sibling names. I had it picked for my DS, who when born, turned out to be a DD. So went with Juniper instead.

100 x better than Sebastian.

I prefer Sebastian. Both Jasper and Sebastian go well with the other names.

How about Tristan, Alexander, Frederick, Clement, Caspar, Elias, Maximilian, Edwin, Gregory, Milo, Gabriel?

Jasper and Sebastian were both my top boys' names - but I had girls!! I think I like jasper just that little bit better. Think they both go fine with your other kids' names.Smile

Have you considered Jago?

Jasper goes well with the other names. It's nicer than Sebastian in my view, and more unusual.

I don't like jasper at all, I think it's one of those names you either love or hate!
Much prefer sebastian.
However, I do think that jasper goes well with your other dc names and is a lot more unusual and quirky which seems to be what you are looking for...

Jasper goes well and is lovely. Cool and not overused.

I really don't like the Seb part of Sebastian (reminds me of sebacious, which means oily), nor do I like the Bastian/Basty part to be honest.

I also agree that Theo in particular is very very popular round here.

Jasper is much nicer and cooler than Sebastian which sounds a little 'wet' to me. I'm not keen on Seb/Sebby either.

I love Jasper and think it is more unusual than the other two. I have a Felix. I also love Sebastian.

May I suggest Monty, Caspar, Cassian, or Hugo.

IMO Jasper/Sebastian are the same 'type' of name as Felix and Theo. They are all lovely names and v well used around here so I wouldn't go for anything too 'left-field' or it might look a bit odd. Slightly prefer Jasper.

Do you have Scandinavian roots? All very popular. I love both Jasper and Sebastian.

I much prefer Jasper to Sebastian (don't like Seb/Sebbie/Basty).

I also don't like the pronunciation Sebass-chan (as my American friends call their son).
