Please could you put these names in order of preference? I'm getting so sick of deliberating about girls names and really want the naming process to feel a bit more positive!

Miranda
Matilda
Mariella
Marianna
Rosanna
Claudia

Middle name will possibly be Iris.

Thank you

Matilda and Claudia are lovely, don't like the rest.

In order of OUR preference? But YOU've got to be happy with your choice (and we may have competely different tastes than you), but if you insist:

Mariella
Miranda
Marianna
Rosanna
Matilda
Claudia

yes I know, mumoftoomany, but I'm being indecisive and sometimes it's helpful to get another point of view. So much better than asking in RL!!

How about Miriam?

I really like Mariella and Rosanna, both are really feminine and not that widely used already.

The meaning would put me off Claudia (disabled/lame) and Matilda is just too popular.

Miranda and Claudia for me, both lovely, lovely namessmile

Matilda is nice, but on the increase.

Marianna, Mariella and Rosanna are okay, but nowhere near as nice as Miranda or Claudia.

Right, for me it would be:

Marianne
(not on your list, I know!)
Miranda
Rosanna
Marianna
Mariella
Matilda
Claudia

Claudia
Miranda
Matilda

And then I don't like the others at all.

mumoftoomany is right actually. We all have different tastes and associations and (thankfully) like different names.

The main thing is that YOU love the name you choose for your dd smile.
