Game of thrones?Love it as a name, but then I kinda love the character, so biased
Bit too close to Aryan for me, sorry!
Well, i first came across it when i read the inheritance cycle by c. Paolini but little arya's character in game of thrones is brilliant and sort of reminds me of myself when i was little!
I agree with a PP, too close to Aryan for me.
Bit like Aryan. Also might people not say Arya here?
I thought of Aryan, sorry! How about Anya?
i'm not british so i'm sorry if i don't get it...what is aryan?!
It's hard to explain fully, google it. But in a nutshell Aryan is what they call the nazi ideal person, the master race and all that entails.
i see now, we have a different name for itshame really, i was looking for a name that wasn't too OTT but related to my love of certain fictional books/games and so on.
Depends on intended pronunciation - I read it as AH-REE-AH which doesnt sound like Aryan which is AIR-EE-AN. I like the name this way but if it is intended with AIR at the beginning then I agree with the others.
no, i pronounce it as ah-ree-ah not with AIR at the beginning
How about Aria, with the pronounciation you like (Ah-ree-ah)
I love it but prefer the spelling Aria
Aria is much prettier, lovely
Aria will be easier for people to pronounce. But I like Arya.
