Is 'Fanny' a suitable name for my fifth?

Hi all,

I'm 25 weeks in with my 5th at this moment in time and already starting to think of names!!! My current kids are Claire, Helen, Julie and Jago - was thinking maybe 'Fanny' if I get a girl as a name for my fifth because Fanny Craddock is an inspiration to me and I want to keep a piece of her legend in some way living on. What do you guys think? xx

Can I ask, what is so bad about it? I often see a Fanny in my village, as we bump into each other when walking the dogs, and nobody has a bad word to say about her name...xx

I do believe at my sons' school when referring to a vagina, the term "fanny" is used. I don't know where this originates from, but, alas, Fanny will always have connotations. She may incessantly be told she's moist and hairy for example.
I always believed it was an excellent name, defaced by modern day society

While I love the tune "The Weight" By the Band ("Take a load of Fanny")....all I can think of when I see that name is...well...one's Fanny.
