Think you've decided on a name? Check out where it ranks on the official list of the most popular baby names first.
nn Viviother DCs have very dull names, which in retrospect I regret, so I want a more adventurous one for this DC.
It's nice, yes.
Lovely, Violet is a beautiful name

very pretty! I think the alliteration works well.
Oh thanks. Not often on here a name gets no vote of dissent.
Go for it.
That will be dc2's name exactly if it is a girl and if DH wasn't such an awkward Verity-hating bugger
Like Verity, but have to raise a small voice of unease here, which I think I can trace back to Dr Suess's ABC: Big V little v, Vera Violet Vinn (who iirc was)Very Very Very Awful on her ViolinConsider your surname and choice of musical instrument with care!
VV is not a nice combination (sorry - voice of dissent)
Love Violet, and i think Vivi is very sweet but really don't like Verity. Too fussy, and rather like Felicity to me. And actually think Verity Violet is a bit cutsey - sorry to be a voice of descent.
Like both names but not together.
I dislike Verity, purely because its the name of the PCOS charity and so it makes me think of ovaries! Violet it gorgeous though!
I know a Verity Violet, I was amazed to see the thread.
Both nice names but wouldn't use both together.
Both names are brilliant, but think ahead in case you have another daughter as I used up my two fave names with my first daughter!
I love both names and the combination is delightful with Verity as a sophisticated option if she wants it when she is adult.I have a very beautiful dgd named Constance Violet[Connie] which is similar without the alliteration.
