Short girls names

Hi All,
I've got about 10 weeks to go and although we have had a favourite girls name for a few weeks now (Rose) I would like to have a few more contenders to make a list. We both really like short names and wondered if anyone had any suggestions for 1 syllable or 2 syllable (but still short) names. We're fairly traditional in our tastes and due to me having a long name that no one can spell I'm keen on choosing a girls name that doesn't need spelling out to everyone!!
Thanks!

Eve. My DD1. Rose is DC2's potential name (depending on sex - 10 weeks to go!).

I think Rose is a lovely name and like short names so they an't be changed by other people who don't appreciate how flippin' lovely the names we've chosen are.

Thanks for all the suggestions...
We both like Eve but too many V's in our surname for that one to work.
I like Kate but think there will be a few of those this year!
I like Grace too...but still prefer Rose.
I'm a big fan of Martha but DH hates it.
This is too hard!

Any more 2 syllable suggestions (traditional and no ambiguous spellings?)

Of those already mentioned love Hope, Nell and Rosy/Rosa (rather than Rose).

Also love Clara, Lara, Tara (not all together obviously!), Iris.

But my absolute fave which you may have as I've got bugger all chance of using it is Tess.

Tess is cute - what would it be short for (other than Tessa?)
Clara is nice too, will suggest those to DH.

Not keen on any of the Rose variations - I like Rosanna but DH can't get past the US chat show host, Rosanne!

My dd is Libby, and I also had Lydia on my list.

I love Rose, so pretty.

annie, for ages I agonised over a long name for Tess, as am not wild about Tessa or Theresa/Teresa or Contessa Hmm. Esther has been suggested which I like but think is a bit tenuous to link to Tess. And upto now have been firmly in the "you need a long name for BC and future options" camp. But I love Tess so much that I think I would just go Tess. Simple, classic and suits all ages IMO (which is often my issshooo with needing a longer name as often the diminutives can be quite young).

Shame about DH and Roseanne, as Rosanna is one of my faves, as so many NN choices.

How about Emma?

Ah we both really like Emma but it is ridiculously close to my nn that it would sound daft together. Huge shame!!
