Should I call my little boy J-den?

What do you think?

I'm expecting my first little boy in July and have been trying to come up with a name. J-den (or is it supposed to be J-Den with a capital D?) is my favourite by far.

My boyfriend doesn't like it though, he says it's 'common' sad he quite likes K-den instead. I'm not sure though.

Also does anyone have any middle names to go with these? We can't think of any! Been looking all over the net but can't find any we really like.

Thank you smile

Ok, surely this is a wind up.... Are you really truly serious???

cjbartlett Sun 29-May-11 09:15:38

Is this a joke?
What's wring with Jayden?

Dolcegusto Sun 29-May-11 09:15:57

I really don't like it I'm afraid. What's wrong with jayden? (not keen on that either but it's better than j-den)
I think your ds will have a life time of saying j hyphen d e n

DrNortherner Sun 29-May-11 09:16:02

J-den or K-den are not even names are they?! AWful.

Wormshuffler Sun 29-May-11 09:16:07

No to neither.......

SoupDragon Sun 29-May-11 09:16:25

Troll

AuntieMonica Sun 29-May-11 09:17:42

how about K-Tel?

<one for all us more senior posters>

SparklyMum2B Sun 29-May-11 09:19:14

I quite like Jayden, or Kayden, but they are really popular, so I thought it would be nice to be a bit different.

SoupDragon do you mean J-den sounds like a troll? Like, ugly? That's not very nice sad

pilates Sun 29-May-11 09:19:24

I think you might regret both your choice of names.

Why are you hyphenating?

Why not Kayden or Jayden, if you like these names?

52Girls Sun 29-May-11 09:20:55

Haha. Not good enough. Trollfail

TheFlyingOnion Sun 29-May-11 09:24:05

failllll

I think you should call him T-Roll (the capital R is essential btw)

Rebecca41 Sun 29-May-11 09:24:17

No, awful! Being different isn't necessarily a good thing. Just means you spend your life being asked "is that REALLY your name?", and having to tell people how to spell it.

SparklyMum2B Sun 29-May-11 09:26:20

Why do people keep talking about trolls! Is it some kind of internet thing? I've never used a forum before

pilates (I love your name btw I do pilates) why do you think I'd regret it, I like it, isn't that good enough?

BunnyWunny Sun 29-May-11 09:26:45

Can't believe there are some genuine replies- so funny!

AuntieMonica Sun 29-May-11 09:27:51

if you like it, then why are you asking a bunch of random strangers what they think?

shmoz Sun 29-May-11 09:28:28

epic fail

SoupDragon Sun 29-May-11 09:29:06

no, sparklymum2b, I mean you are a troll and this is not a genuine thread.
You aren't even a very good one.

MaryBS Sun 29-May-11 09:29:51

I like T-roll, but otherwise its G-wizz!

SparklyMum2B Sun 29-May-11 09:33:09

Yeah OK I admit it I'm just having a larf grin

Gimme a break, it's my first attempt! blush I clearly need practice! At least I got a couple of replies, I shall console myself with that! grin

AuntieMonica Sun 29-May-11 09:34:13

4/10 as a 1st attempt but 10/10 for coming clean grin

TheFlyingOnion Sun 29-May-11 09:36:03
