Think you've decided on a name? Check out where it ranks on the official list of the most popular baby names first.
BenjaminArthurJasperFergusTobyFrederickLouisAnd what would you use as the middle name? Any of the above combinations allowed. Thanks MNers!
Louis and Toby were on our shortlist Also like Benjamin
My favourite by a long way is Louis - it sounds fresh and cheerful and is not over-used (unlike Benjamin and Frederick). I also like Fergus a lot, and Arthur is pretty good too. Jasper is the one I'm least keen on in the list.
Fergus is nice and not as overused as some of your other suggestions.
I don't think Frederick is overused personally and I love it. Fergus would be my other choice. Could go for anything except Toby or Arthur as a middle name with those. Quite like the idea of Frederick Jasper.
Benjamin and Jasper.
I love Fergus. Fergus Arthur or Fergus Jasper would be my choices.Ben, Toby and Fred are all quite common and I find them a little overused and dull.

All of these names are on the up (as in very fashionable/trendy) apart from Louis which is declining in popularity. On this basis, would go for Louis and agree that Louis Frederick works well.Fergus would be my second choice.
I would probably also avoid the popular names Ben(jamin), Toby and Fred(erick) as they will probably date more as they fall out of favour.Fergus would be my top choice, followed by Jasper.
Benjamin (my nephew - popular name but relatively timeless).Or Toby.Louis Frederick sounds like an early modern European monarch of some sort.
Benjamin or Toby
Jasper & Benjamin...or Benjamin JasperHappy picking!
Arthur Frederick is very cute. Also Louis Frederick or Louis Benjamin
