Can you spell Margot as Margo

I think probably not but I've done a search on the name here and hadn't thought of the maggot connection! Anyone know how likely it is a child will get teased for this? Does Margo just look a bit rubbish though?

And opinions welcome on the name itself of course :) .

I know that in French you don't pronounce the 't' but in English you would, wouldn't you? You say Elliot, not Ellio.

Thanks everyone. I think we will go with Margot if we use it. We do have Polish and German connections so some reminders to knock the t off the end will be needed :).
