I'm guessing not a lot of ppl would be bothered to say/spell the whole name, so what are nice possible nns?

I have always loved the name Evangaline ever since The house of Elliot.
She was nicknamed Evie.
Or you could go for Lin.

My DD gets called Evie a lot. Wish I'd discouraged it from the start as I chose Evangeline and want her to be called by her full name.

Other nn for Evangeline are Eva, Angel, Line (pronounced leena)

I know two Evangelines. One is called Evie, the other Geli (pronounced jelly - awful!).

I knew one when I was a child -- my friend's baby sister. AFAIK she never had any nicknames, it was Evangeline the whole way.

My DD has a name with the same number of syllables and everyone says it in full. No problems.

Why does it need a nn? My Evangeline is Evangeline. If I wanted her to be called Eva for example, I'd have called her that!

Well she might get an unconnected nn.

My daughter´s is Poppy LouBlush, which came about from me calling her Poppet.
